How long may I borrow a book?
See the library circulation policies.

What do "on order" and "in process" in a library catalog record mean?
"On order" indicates that the material has been ordered for this library, but not yet received. The length of time between order and receipt of materials varies greatly, depending on availability and location of the publisher. "In process" indicates that the material has been received but is not yet processed for public access. These materials should be available within ten days.

If there is no location for a book listed in the library catalog, how do I get the book?
If a screen reads "In pre-order process" or "No call number available," please notify the reference librarian. During regular working hours, we should be able to provide a number within a few minutes. If the message is "Item no longer available" and is the result of a keyword search, the item is no longer in the library, but the record has not been cleared from the keyword file.

How do I obtain an e-mail account? Where can I use e-mail?
See Baruch College's instructions on obtaining a Baruch e-mail account. Please use the computers in the computer lab on the sixth floor.
