Books and Materials at Baruch and in Other CUNY Libraries

CUNY+ is the Web-based catalog of the collections of all CUNY libraries. It can be accessed through the Newman Library Web site by selecting "Online Catalog" and following the links to CUNY+. The catalog lists library materials in all formats (books, journals, videos, databases, etc.).

You can search all CUNY libraries at once (the CUNY Union Catalog), or you can select an individual library (such as Baruch). CUNY+ can be searched by keyword(s) in the subject, author, title, or ALL fields. A browse search function allows you to search an alphabetical list of titles, authors' names, subjects, etc.

When you have located an item you want to find in the library, click "Baruch" in the Holdings column to find the location (such as "stacks" or "reference"), the call number, and whether or not the item is available. A date in the "Due date" column indicates the item is checked out. "On Shelf" in the same column means it is in the library. "On Order" means the item has been ordered but is not yet available.

Baruch students have borrowing privileges at all CUNY libraries with the following exceptions: materials at the Graduate Center may be consulted on site by undergraduate students but may be borrowed only by graduate students and faculty, and materials at the CUNY Law Library may be used on site only. Materials borrowed at other CUNY libraries may be returned at Baruch. Materials not owned by Baruch may be requested through interlibrary loan (select "interlibrary loan" on the library Services page).
