A total of 250 laptops are available for loan to currently enrolled Baruch College undergraduate and graduate students. Laptops are loaned for either three-hour period for use in the library, or for a three-day home loan period. All laptops provide wireless Internet connectivity. They may be used to connect to the campus network in the Newman Library and within the Newman Vertical Campus. They are equipped with a combined CD-ROM-DVD player. Headphones and ZIP drives are available upon request. Three-day loan laptops include a modem and software that enable Internet access for students who have an account with an Internet service provider. Netbooks and MacBooks are also available.
