Library Fines

RESERVE FINE SCHEDULE

ALL ITEMS BORROWED AT THE RESERVE COUNTER MUST BE RETURNED TO THIS COUNTER

LOANS
A. Two Hour Loans (one 2 hour renewal is allowed if not requested by another patron)
All two loans are for on-site use only.
Fines: 2 cents per minute until the item is returned. The fine will continue to build until the $40.00 maximum (per item) is reached. The fine continues to accrue even when the Library is closed.
B. Overnight Loans (available for certain items only to Baruch Patrons)
Overnight loans are due by 5:00 PM of the next day the Library is open.
Fines: A $10.00 fine will be charged per day regardless of what time the item is returned. The fine will continue to build until the $40.00 maximum (per item) is reached. The fine continues to accrue on days the Library is closed.

REBINDING FEE
Binding Fee $10.00

Note: Once an item is billed as lost the borrower is liable for the cost of the item, processing fee and overdue fine (all of which are non-refundable).

Failure to pay any fine or fee may result in a suspension of library borrowing privileges. Also, it may result in the withholding of grades, transcripts, or diploma. In addition, the borrower may not be able to register in following semesters.

No personal checks accepted.
All receipts should be saved. There is no overall maximum to fines.
All fines are to be paid at the Circulation Desk.
