Reference
librarians and subject specialists provide assistance in locating materials
and researching the literature. The reference desk is located on the second
floor and is staffed most hours the library is open.
The library has over 100 PC workstations with access to electronic resources for research. Laptop PCs are also available for students to borrow. For more information consult the computing services page.
The
library offers free hands-on workshops in CUNY+ and electronic information
resources including Navigating the World Wide Web, LEXIS/NEXIS and various
CD-ROM products. Click here to access the workshop page.
Materials needed for research which are not owned by the library or available in full text online, can be borrowed from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan. Excluded from this are textbooks, study guides, workbooks, or leisure reading materials. Requests can be made through the library's Web site by going to the Request Forms page for either book requests or journal articles can be made through the library's Interlibrary Loan page.
The
reserve desk on the second floor provides access to course materials placed
on reserve by faculty and copies of previous examinations. A limited number
of textbooks are also available. For more information, consult the reserve

Photocopiers
are located on every floor. Microfilm reader/printers are located on the third
floor. Laser printing is available from all PCs in the library. A detailed

A
limited number of quiet study carrels and group study
rooms are available in the library on a first-come first-served basis.
